Great Car Until The Infotainment Issue
By Mazda Owner | on Wednesday, August 14, 2019
I bought this car used at about 50k miles and it was great the first year. Everything was fine until the infotainment system started acting up and went into this continuous reboot loop. It seems that this is a common issue from reading forums and Mazda should have had this recalled. If you enjoy listening to music on bluetooth and radio, this can become very annoying. I love listening to music while driving so this is a big issue. The dealership will charge you just to check what the issue is. Mazda should have done a better job and not use cheap parts so that wouldn't have become an issue. Hopefully the newer models are better.… - 5.0
I don’t get the Trans/elec problem you guys claim
By Adam K | on Friday, February 19, 2021
Question for your bad reviews. Most claim a transmission issue or electrical problem. My question is: Do you have the manual transmission? If not, don’t use your broad brush to bash the trans. What electrical issue? No one has been specific. I just bought the car and it seems nothing short of an awesome driving experience. I have the Mazda3 i touring hatchback.… - 4.0
Fantastic value for a small car
By MH | on Thursday, September 05, 2019
I purchased this car primarily for commuting, meetings with clients, and summer weekend trips to the mountains and beach. Overall I have been very happy with it. It handles like a sports car yet maintains great gas mileage - I average about 42 mpg on the freeway between Seattle and Portland. Even the Sport trim with the smaller engine has plenty of power for day-to-day driving. The build quality is good and the interior feels like a luxury car. Its not perfect though. My main gripes are the lack storage and the seats are incredibly uncomfortable so is not great for those weekend trips. The throttle delay at low speeds while in drive mode is particularly annoying, especially in stop and go traffic. However, given the price tag this a really great car for the money.…
