Called ahead to confirm a specific vehicle was available before driving approximately an hour to the dealership. Upon arrival, we located the vehicle on the lot ourselves, only to be told moments later that it had “just been sold to a vendor” 5–10 minutes earlier. What made the experience frustrating was the immediate pivot into “let me show you what else we have on the lot” instead of acknowledging the inconvenience and wasted time. I understand cars sell. That happens. But if a customer is actively on the way after confirming availability, there should be better communication and professionalism involved. No issue with losing out on a car — the issue was the handling of the situation and the obvious sales tactic afterward. Disappointing experience overall.
I had my car serviced at Napleton Mazda in Palatine yesterday. I was greeted promptly and professionally. I was provided with an estimate of the work. Shortly thereafter, I received a video of the inspection, with recommendations. There was no pressure, only recommendations. My car was finished on time, and had been washed. My interactions with Frankie were top notch. I will be back! Pricing was fair, with excellent service!

Told them what stock number I wanted to see. Confirmed what time I would be there, hours in advance. Arrived and wasnt shown the vehicle I wanted to see. They tried to show me the unit in the showroom but battery was dead so they couldnt get doors open. How do you have a dead PHEV inside the showroom with outlets within arms reach? Anyway, they never took me to see the vehicle I specifically scheduled time to look at. They did want to sit down and discuss my budget though. Total waste of time with these people. Dont waste yours. Go somewhere else

I had an amazing experience at the dealership from the point of researching to the buying process. I had to downsize my Jeep for personal reasons. Palatine Mazda had plenty of cars and I was offered a satisfactory deal. The downside is that there was way too much standing around and waiting and the process should not take as long as it did.
